The shelf is flawless, and I would have recommended the product if the delivery experience hadn’t been a complete mess. The company uses FedEx for international shipping, and I will avoid any service that relies on FedEx in the future.
The shelf arrived in our city in Finland in a few days, but got stuck there for over a week. Every single day, FedEx sent us a notification saying the shelf was out for delivery and that we needed to stay home between 9:00 and 22:00—a very large time window. We waited... and waited... for seven days.
FedEx offers no access to human customer support, so we couldn’t contact the delivery company directly. I had to reach out to Woodz customer service, and thankfully, they resolved the issue quickly. Communication with Woodz was smooth and professional.
Unfortunately, the delivery ordeal left a bad aftertaste. The shelf was a birthday gift for our child, and we had relied on the promised delivery window. We also were not refunded the delivery fee, which was over 20 €, though had requested the compensation.
